WinShortcuts is a program to create and use shortcuts and to launch applications. It allows you to run programs and access folders or drives with just one click. You can easily create the shortcuts by dragging and dropping the icon of a file or a folder into the appropriate category among those in the tool’s interface. If the category you are looking for does not exist, you can create it by right-clicking on any free space in the program's window. You can also add categories or applications using the buttons provided on the top end of the window.
When adding a direct access to an application, you will also be able to set some environmental variables, such as where it will start, and the arguments and hotkeys that will be used with that application. You can create direct accesses to executable files regardless of the category they belong to, but you will only be able to add shortcuts to folders if they are in the "My Folders" category.
This program runs on Windows XP, Vista or Seven. It is a comfortable way of keeping in just one window all those shortcuts you need for a quick access to your most frequently used programs and folders.
